Purification Ceremony 灑淨 

Date   : Sunday 24 th February 2019
Venue : 42 Bridge Street, Bulleen, Victoria 
Time   : 10am to 12noon (ceremony and Dharma Service starts at 10am sharp)

The Purification Ritual is a blessing ceremony for Buddhism. The purification ceremony marks the opening of DDM Melbourne Chapter's new place. The Purification blessing ceremony will be conducted by Venerable Chang Xu at its Melbourne new venue. 

The programme includes chanting of The Great Compassion Mantra, one of the most sacred Buddhist texts dedicated to Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva. In the ritual, blessed water will be used to "cleanse" the site of DDM Melbourne Chapter to benefit all sentient beings.

"灑淨" 是佛教的祝福儀式，為法鼓山墨爾本分會喬遷舉行灑淨儀式
並由常續法師主法. 儀式中，主法者同聲繞念〈大悲咒〉或觀音聖號，祈願觀世音菩薩的慈悲願力滌淨道場, 借著這個因緣，讓所有有緣眾生得到利益.
