Blessings and Wisdom—The Way to Freedom

While trying to walk away from the pandemic to welcome a brand new year, how do we find hope for ourselves and bring brightness to people around us?

For the year 2023, Dharma Drum Mountain has chosen an annual theme--Blessings and Wisdom: The Way to Freedom—to encourage people to cultivate both blessings and wisdom, in order to attain peace and freedom in its true sense. To develop the ability to show concern and care for others is to cultivate our blessings; to set aside our self-thought and let go of our ego is to cultivate wisdom. In our daily life, if we can use a compassionate mind to interact with others and apply wisdom to handle matters, we’ll be able to always enjoy peace and well-being, living in harmony, joy, and freedom.

Watch this video featuring a Dharma talk by Master Sheng Yen, and let us learn to calm and settle our body and mind by cultivating both blessings and wisdom, thus helping to make 2023 a better year for all to enjoy true freedom and perfect fulfillment.
