Mindfulness Art & Craft - Fabric & Ribbon Arts Saturday 15 August 10.30am to 12.30pm (15-8-2015, 10.30am-12.30pm) In this workshop, participants are shown how to make flowers with fabric and ribbons. These little flowers can be used to make hair and fashion accessories, necklaces, brooches, gift boxes and many others. It is believed that the concept upheld in a sitting meditation practice can be incorporated into the crafting process while participants are fully aware of all the steps and enjoy every moment of the creation. At the end of the workshop, all participants will bring home the creations uniquely theirs. This workshop encourages the use of recycled fabric, ribbons, buttons and hair clips. Cost is $20, and all materials are provided. To register for this workshop, either call Lilian on 0432 647 004 or email her at khawlilian@yahoo.com by 13 August (Thursday), so materials can be organised accordingly. 若对此工作坊有兴趣,可以在8月13日前联络Lilian(手机:0432647004电邮:khawlilian@yahoo.com), 方便她统计人数及准备所有材料。 AIS (Australian Intercultural Society) has been active in scheduling activities to unite different faith groups as part of interfaith dialogue since its initial establishment.
